Licensing & Updates

AutoStyle Pro is licensed per machine. FILE ▸ Account shows the current status, activates and deactivates a license, checks for updates, and sends a bug report.

The Trial

A new installation runs a 7-day trial with the full feature set. Nothing is held back and nothing is watermarked. A reminder appears as the trial nears its end. When it expires, Studio shows a full-screen License Required overlay with an Activate License button; your files are untouched and open normally once a license is activated.

Activating

  1. Open FILE ▸ Account.
  2. Paste your license key into the Activate License box.
  3. Click Activate.

Activation binds the license to this machine. License Status then shows the license type (annual, 3-year or trial) and, for a purchased license, when it renews.

Moving to Another Machine

Click Deactivate This Machine in the Account dialog on the old machine before activating on the new one. If the old machine is unavailable, whether failed, replaced or wiped, contact support@bezaleldesignlab.com to release the activation.

Working Offline

The license revalidates periodically in the background while Studio is running, and a short grace period covers a machine that is offline, so a few days in the field or on a plane is fine. Beyond that, Studio needs to reach the licensing server once to confirm the license is still good.

The AutoCAD plugin has no licensing interface of its own. Licensing lives in Studio, which is where the presentation work happens.

Updates

Check for Updates in the Account dialog reports whether a newer version is available; Studio also checks on startup and periodically while it runs. Updates are installed by downloading the installer from bezaleldesignlab.com and running it over the existing installation. Your projects, presets, layer database and mapping rules are kept.

Product Notices

Occasionally a notice is published with an update check: a known issue, a release note, something worth knowing before you hit it. Informational notices appear quietly in the status bar. A critical notice also opens once as a dialog and leaves a ⚠ Notice chip in the status bar; clicking the chip re-opens the message. Notices clear themselves when they are retracted.

Feedback and Bug Reports

Two routes, both fine:

  • FILE ▸ Feedback. Pick a category (Bug Report, Feature Request or General Feedback), describe it, and send. Your product version goes with it.
  • FILE ▸ Account ▸ Report a Bug sends a short description with your version and operating system.

For anything involving a crash, attach the most recent file from %APPDATA%\AutoStylePro\Logs to an email to support@bezaleldesignlab.com. It is usually the difference between a guess and a fix.

About

FILE ▸ About shows the installed version. Quote it when reporting a problem. In AutoCAD, ABOUT_AUTOSTYLE prints the plugin's version to the command line.
